Hi There!
Today I have a new project I worked on a couple of weeks ago. I decided to try my Pan Pastels painting colors.
On this project I used the following materials:
Canvas 9 X 12 Primed
Pan Pastels and accessories
Brushtix
Graphic Pencil
Stencil
Embossing Powder-pearl white
Tim Holtz Stamp - Butterflies & Saying
Acrylic Paints for background
Fixative Sealer
It was pretty interesting how the Pan Pastels worked. I was able to blend and highlight. I need to practice more on the color palette of the face. This was my first time trying the Pan Pastels, non the less I had fun!
Until the next time!

Prima Canvas Lacie
Happy Fall!
With cooling weather and the leaves falling in my back yard, it's officially Fall. Soon it will be coat weather again. Something I'm not looking forward to.
I've been isolated in the last couple of months due to my dog Alastar passed the way in August and it's been very hard on all of us to be without him. My inspirations of getting creative has been on hold ever since my boy died.
I had this canvas started since late July and finally today I decided to finish it.
Prima Doll Lacie : Stamp by Jamie Dougherty, 9 X 12 Canvas, Tim Holtz Tissue Paper, Prima Stencil, Wire Stencil, Golden Matte Medium, Golden Gesso, Golden Paste, Acrylic paints and Distress Inks. I decided to hand draw part of the arm tattoo on her back to make it look like a lace dress.

I also have a picture of my daughter's pet : A Crested Gecko.
He's a cutie!

Prima Mermaid 2015
Greetings My Friends,
I have another mixed media project completed. This one is a mermaid coming out of the water. I really like this one more than the first mermaid I made. I decided it go with purples and blues, lots of Encrusted Jewel embossing powders and my favorite Golden glass bead gel media. I colored the image with Copic markers, accented with Stickles, and Liquid Pearls.

Enjoy!

Prima Doll Album 2
Hi There,
Finally I finished the second album of Julie Nutting Prima Doll Series. A lot of people requested for me to make a boy album, but instead I created a boy and girl album with the different color skin. Since it's summer I went with a nautical theme using the Authentic line of paper and some of my Silhouette designs images that I downloaded to use as embellishments. Hope you all enjoy it!

Blossom Girls
Hi Everyone,
I 'm so happy with this weather change and everything turning green again. That mean no more cold days. My back yard is a magical bird singing zone. I get all kinds of birds, and it's wonderful to listen and watch them. I really enjoy it!
Well today I have two more projects that I finished last month. These are the Julie Nutting Blossom Girls Emily and Jing. I used these stamps and created a mixed media canvas full of color.

Cherry Blossom Time
Hello Everyone,
I have some really cool pictures of the Cherry Blossoms near my neighborhood, that I took two days ago. It's wonderful to experience these blossoms when they're on their peak stage. It's a shame that they only last a couple of days like this, and then change to green leaves.
Enjoy the pictures!

Life Doesn't Have to be Perfect
Hello Everyone,
Today I have this month's mixed media canvas project, which I think is by far the best of my drawings. I've been inspired by Jane Davenport. Her work is so amazing and her method are very easy to follow. Also practice, patience and of course, enjoy what you are working on is a must! Letting go and not be a perfectionist is also the key to obtain your inner creativity onto the canvas. Sometime a mistake can become a piece of art. For me this is my happy time and I work on my own pace until it's finished. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.:)
